Anastasia Beverly Hills - Master Palette By Mario

Hello Beauties,

I think I may have found my favourite eyeshadow palette for 2016 (yes - that is a big statement - I know!) in the Anastasia Beverly Hills - Master Palette by Mario. Made famous for creating the Kim Kardashian makeup look, Celebrity Makeup Artist, Mario Dedivanovic has collaborated with Anastasia Beverly Hills to create a limited edition eyeshadow palette containing twelve neutral and jewel-toned shades in a range of matte to metallic finishes.

The palette is quite compact, slim-line and light so perfect for travelling or carrying in your bag if you fancy taking your eyeshadow look from day to night. The palette is a durable case with magnetic closure capability and has a decent sized mirror inside as well as a duo shadow brush which is really lovely to use and helps blend the shadows really well.

The twelve eyeshadows in this palette were named after the most influential women and places in Mario's life - a lovely touch. The shades are as follows:

Hollywood (metallic) - a golden yellow
NYC (metallic) - a chocolate brown with golden specks
Kim (metallic) - a tan muted bronze
Muse (metallic) - a reddish copper
Marina (metallic) - a silver taupe
Claudia (metallic) - a midnight blue with silver specks
Lula (matte) - a brown taupe
Isabel (matte) a burnt orange
Violeta (matte) - a chocolate brown
5th Ave (metallic) - a classic gold
Bronx (metallic) - an olive green with golden specks
Paris (metallic) - an antique gold

The eyeshadows in this palette are blendable, they are super creamy and luxurious to the touch and highly pigmented so they have staying power.

There are so many different looks you can create with this palette and I've been testing many but my go-to look at the moment is applying 'Muse' all over my eyelid, 'Hollywood' on the brow bone and inner corner of my eyes and 'Kim' on the centre of my eyelid to give a pop to the eye. I then take the shade 'Muse' again and smoke underneath the bottom lash line. To finish off I use a brown kohl eye pencil across the top of my lash line and then add a few coats of mascara.

I think if you're like me and have a love for warm brown, coppery, golden eyeshadow tones than you will absolutely fall in love with this palette - just like I have!
