Favourite (July) Things

Hello beauties,

I’m back with my July favourites and I have a few lipstick faves as well as a base and haircare favourite. I’ve reached out for these products pretty much everyday this past month and couldn’t wait to share them with you! I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you think - let me know in the comments of my ‘July Favourites’ post on Instagram.

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in ‘SC-3’ - a few months ago I was lucky enough to meet Laura Mercier’s Director, Global Creative Artistry, Benjamin Ruiz and he re-introduced me to one of Laura Mercier’s top selling products, the Secret Camouflage concealer. I forgot how amazing this concealer is and I’m glad it’s back in my life! This long-wearing concealer is oil-free so it works perfect for concealing spots, blemishes and redness to create natural and flawless skin. Best used with Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage Brush, warm the two shades on the back of your hand until you find the blend that matches your skin tone. Apply the concealer with the brush on areas you need to conceal, pat in with your fingertips and set with powder.

NARS Audacious Lipstick in ‘Barbara’ - the Audacious lipstick collection has to be my favourite from NARS because of how highly pigmented, creamy and long-wearing they are - I find that I don’t even need to wear a lip liner with these lipsticks. ‘Barbara’ is the newest to my collection and is a gorgeous beige brown with a pinky rose undertone.

Kylie Cosmetics Lip Liner in ‘Exposed’ - I’ve been wearing this lip liner all month - I love it because it’s so easy to apply and comfortable to wear. ‘Exposed’ is a warm beige tone and creamy in texture and long-lasting. You can wear the lip liner on its own or layer a lipstick or lipgloss on top.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in ’06 Rosewood’ - this lip balm has saved me during the colder days when my lips have felt so dry. This lip balm has a natural looking tint so it gives your lips a bit of colour and is extremely moisturising and nourishing. Definitely check this out if you prefer wearing lip balms to lipsticks or glosses.

OUAI Haircare ‘Wave Spray’ - O.M.G. this wave spray has changed my life forever! If you’re looking to achieve beachy undone hair then look no further than the OUAI ‘Wave Spray’ - it’s a weightless hair mist (which smells amazing mind you!!) that adds a little grit and lots of texture to your hair. When my hair is towel dry, I apply it to the roots and mid-lengths and blow-dry before going in with my GHD’s to create waves. I then brush out all the waves and spray a bit more ‘Wave Spray’ for that ‘I just came back from the beach’ look.
