Favourite (May) Things
I hope you've all had a lovely May and I can't believe that we are already mid year and I'm writing May favourites! Here are a few beauty gems I've been loving recently:
Rimmel Sculpting Palette by Kate Moss in '002 Coral Glow' - this is Rimmel's first ever sculpting palette designed by Kate Moss. The palette has three long-lasting colours - a soft shimmer powder to highlight, a shading powder to contour and a powder blush for definition and colour. I really like how compact this palette is making it very easy to carry around - the colours work seamlessly together and will suit a lot of different skin tones.
MAC Lip Pencil in 'Stripdown' - I love MAC lip pencils because they are so long-lasting, easy to wear and you can wear them on their own or with a lipstick. Stripdown is a brown nude colour and is the perfect 90's shade, a trend I've really been into this month so it's been my go-to lip pencil in May.
Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Yeux - the one thing that I have struggled with for a while is dehydration around my eyes and I've tried so many different eye creams, gels and serums to get the hydration back but unfortunately not had much success until I picked this little star from Chanel. It's part of their Hydra Beauty range which aims to give your skin the utmost hydration it needs and I have found after using this eye gel for the past couple of months the skins around my eyes feels and looks more plump, hydrated and less puffy. I would highly recommend trying this out if you're struggling with dehydration around your eyes.
Rosie for Autograph Cream Eyeshadow Stick in 'Feline Fox' - cream eyeshadow sticks are one of my favourite things for a quick eye makeup look when I'm pressed for time and this one from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's makeup collection for Marks & Spencer does not fail. It's a gorgeous browny bronze shade with golden specks throughout which gives your eyes a lovely shimmer. The formula of this stick is highly pigmented, smooth, creamy and long-lasting. I'd say you better be quick once you've applied the shadow because once it sets it will not budge so apply and blend right away - the shadow blends very easily and you can use your fingers or a brush. It's gorgeous and I want all the colours!
