Lancôme Juicy Shakers Review

Hello beauties,

When Lisa Eldridge (Lancôme’s Global Creative Makeup Director) announced the launch of these new products a few months ago I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on them to tell you all about them!

To give you a little bit of background, the Juicy Shaker was inspired by two classic Lancôme products; the first being the cocktail lipstick created in 1945 and the wildly popular Juicy Tubes of the 90’s - who remembers them?

What, Lisa then did was bring those two products together to create the latest and greatest, Juicy Shaker - a pigment infused bi-phase tinted lip oil in a mini cocktail shaker.

There are 13 different shades with one limited edition shade, ‘Mint to Be’ 400 in this collection. The Juicy Shaker contains nourishing oils like sweet almond, omega 3 and cranberry oil. They also have their own individual fragrance (the names pretty much match the scent) so they taste and smell amazing! My favourites from this collection (pictured L-R above) are ‘Mangoes Wild’ 381, ‘Freedom of Peach’ 142, ‘Cherry Symphony’ 151, ‘Mint to Be’ 400 and ‘Meli Melon’ 301.

As the Juicy Shaker is a pigment infused bi-phase oil (which means the pigment will separate from the oil) you will need to give it a good shake before applying it onto your lips. The soft and bouncy cushion applicator hugs your lips so it helps you to not go over your natural lip line.

The way I've been using them is by giving them a good shake and then dabbing onto my lips in one layer for a more sheer finish - if I want a more stronger pigment, I will shake, shake, shake and apply the next layer. Another tip is to use them on top of your lip liner or lipstick for a more glossy effect.

I found these lip oils to be super nourishing and not sticky at all - perfect if you’re heading into the colder months or battling post-winter dry lips. I would highly recommend visiting your local Lancôme beauty counter and giving these little beauties a try - they are the cutest things ever, fun to use and slightly addictive! You’ll want them all!
