Rosie for Autograph Makeup - Review & Beauty Breakdown

When I found out that, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley launched her own makeup line as part of her Autograph collection for Marks & Spencer I just needed to get my hands on it. I've read quite a number of interviews with Rosie in the past where she talks about her love and appreciation for makeup so I was really looking forward to giving her products a spin.

Here's a beauty breakdown of the look I created using some of the products from her range and my thoughts:

Amazing Radiance Cream - an illuminating face primer that you can wear on its own, before or after your foundation. It's light-weight in texture and blends beautifully giving your skin instant radiance - this is a gorgeous product. I wore the cream after my moisturiser and before my foundation.

Lipstick in Rose Lace - enriched with Argan Oil this pinky nude lipstick is creamy in texture and felt very hydrating and comfortable to wear. I had to reapply after eating my lunch but I didn't mind because the rose gold packaging is devine!

Bronzer in Magic Contour - this bronzer is matte and reminds me a little of Kevyn Aucoin's contour powder. You can use this as your contour and bronzer and as a contour it doesn't create harsh lines on your face - it blends out very nicely so it's perfect if you want to add just that little bit of definition to your face.

Cream Blusher in Natures Blush - I would say this a cream to powder blush so you have to be quick to blend it out before it starts to set. This shade is a deep coral pink and highly pigmented so a little goes a long way!

Cream Eyeshadow in Feline Fox - I found this eyeshadow to glide on smoothly and blend easily - it didn't set quickly so it allowed for time to blend which I liked. I find some cream eyeshadows set instantly not allowing you enough time to grab your brush! This shade is more of an antique brown gold with shimmer which you can wear on its own or as a base (which I did) before powder shadow. It's long-lasting as well and doesn't crease.

Eyeshadow Palette in Copper Gold Rush - this eyeshadow palette has four substantially sized (2.5g each) eyeshadows in a gorgeous array of colours. In each palette you get a mix of matte and pearl finishes and the shadows are creamy, blendable and buildable. In this particular palette, there is a matte brown which is a perfect crease shade which you can use to soften edges and lines, a pearly champagne colour that you can use in the inner corners of your eyes or on the centre of your eyelid to give a pop of shimmer, a chocolate brown shade you can use to add extra definition on the outer corners of your eye or as an eyeliner and finally a pinky plum shade with hints of gold sparkle which you can use on its own all over your eyelid or in the crease or outer corner. The colours in this palette allow for so many different looks - you can blend all four together or just two or use them on their own. For this particular look, I used the matte brown, pearly champagne and chocolate brown shades - I LOVE THIS PALETTE!!

Gel Eyeliner in I'm A Fox Star - I found this eyeliner easy to apply and it sets without moving or creasing. The pencil comes with a sharpener to help you create a precise line and flick. This shade is a chocolate brown and reminds me of MAC's Teddy kohl pencil. I used it along the top and bottom of my lashes and went over it with the chocolate brown eyeshadow from the palette to soften the line.

Overall I was really impressed with the makeup I got to try from Rosie's collection and if I could get my hands on the entire range I would! If you're close to an M&S please visit the counter and get your hands on this makeup collection - it's gorgeous and I absolutely loved wearing it...I get the feeling you might see them pop up in my favourites in the not so distant future.

XOXO
