Favourite (September) Things

It's time to roundup what I've been reaching out for in the month of September!

Lancôme Shine Lover Lipstick in #212 'Twisted Beige' - this has been the lipstick I have been wearing pretty much everyday this month. It's easy to apply (no mirror needed) and it's that your lips but better type of lipstick. As its name suggests it's a beige colour and I'd say more of a nude beige and looks fab with a smokey eye or a no-makeup makeup look.

IT Cosmetics CC+ Full Coverage Cream in 'Light' - what a fabulous colour correcting cream this is. Why...you may ask - because it's like a tinted moisturiser but with coverage and feels so lightweight on. I've been wearing this on the weekends when I don't want a full face of makeup on. It also has SPF 50+ so perfect when you're out in the sun but not the best for photography because of the flashback due to the high SPF.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in #1N3 'Creamy Vanilla' - ok where have I been and why have I only recently picked this up! I came across this product when I was watching Sali Hughes' interview with Mary Greenwell and this was one of Mary's go to products for a full coverage look. I looked into it and picked up the Creamy Vanilla and now I'm obsessed. This gives you MAXIMUM coverage and is a heavy foundation - I've only been using this sparingly to cover blemishes and dark spots (more like a concealer) and the most amazing thing on top of the fact that it conceals is that it doesn't move and I found that I didn't have to touch up during the day.

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in 'The Rock Chick' - the colours in this quad are gorgeous and give you that classic Kate Moss smokey eye look. You get four colours; a prime (minky grey), enhance (dark grey), smoke (matte charcoal) and pop (silver glitter) shade that you can use individually or together depending on the look you're going for. I tend to use the prime shade all over my eyelid then the enhance shade through the crease to create some depth and add a touch of the pop shade on the centre of my lid.

Tangle Teezer 'Cut Out Lips Stripe' by Lulu Guinness - I know I'm late to the Tangle Teezer phenomenon but when I saw this limited edition version by Lulu Guinness I had to pick it up. It's palm size, perfect for travelling, detangles painlessly and has red lips all over it - need I say more :-)
