Favourite (March) Things
Here's a recap of the products I was (and still am) reaching out for in the month of March.
Rimmel Lasting 25HR Foundation with Comfort Serum - I've been using this foundation pretty much everyday. I was really surprised with how blendable and lightweight it was but at the same time giving me a medium to full coverage. It has an SPF 20 so not so great for photos because you will get flashback but great if you're out in the sun during the day. I've been using #100 Ivory and it's the perfect shade for me.
Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in 02 Taupe - I picked this up when I was in New York at Christmas and only started using it this month (was waiting for my Anastasia Brow Wiz to finish!) and it has made it into my 'best of' beauty products list. The shade, Taupe is a perfect shade for my dark brows and the sculptor comes with a spoolie and a secret sharpener tucked away just behind it.
By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Brown Perfection #13 - This cream eyeshadow has been on my wish list for some time now and I finally picked it up when I was perusing the makeup displays at Mecca Cosmetica. If you want a very quick smokey eye that will last you the whole day than this is the product for you. After applying a few strokes on your eyelids you can use your fingers or a brush to blend out giving you a smokey sultry look.
The Balm Cosmetics Fall For This Blush in Pinstripe - I love the seasonal blushes on offer from The Balm Cosmetics and this one for Fall/Autumn is the perfect plum pink shade with hints of gold specks throughout to highlight your cheeks on application. The creamy powder texture means it will be long wearing giving you that extra staying power.
Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Marie #430 - Part of the updated Rouge Coco lipstick range that was released earlier this month, Marie is a beautiful mauve shade which is perfect for the Autumn/Fall season. When I saw Keira Knightley wear this lipstick to the Oscars I had to get my hands on it.
